Call for abstracts
We invite participants to submit abstracts in following topics:
Beyond 2D: New dimensions and cell models: This session will focus on advancing high-content imaging beyond traditional 2D cell culture through the use of advanced cellular models such as organoids and spheroids. We will also highlight advances in brightfield and time-lapse imaging, which offer new opportunities to study dynamic cellular processes.
Tools, datasets and assay development: Reliable image-based profiling depends on the availability of high-quality datasets, well-designed assays, and adaptable computational tools. This session will cover recent developments in assay design, data standardization, and software infrastructure that support reproducible and large-scale phenotypic screening.
Image and data analysis: Extracting insights from high-dimensional image data requires sophisticated analysis methods. This session will showcase novel image processing techniques, machine learning approaches, and quantitative analysis strategies that are driving progress in the interpretation of complex imaging datasets.
Application of image-based profiling: This session will feature real-world applications and success stories showcasing how image-based profiling is being used across diverse research areas such as drug discovery and cell biology. Presentations will highlight how these methods are generating actionable biological insights across a range of experimental systems.
The abstract should include a brief description of the work relevant for the symposium themes. All research work including methods or applications related to image-based profiling are welcomed.
Following information is required in the abstract submission form:
Presenter contact information: Name and email address.
Abstract title: The title of the work to be included in the programme if the abstract is accepted.
Authors: List of authors, reference author affiliations.
Author affiliations: List of affiliations using the same numbering as in the authors list.
Abstract text: The abstract text is limited to approximately 400 words including references.
Abstract has to be submitted to Oxford Abstract system (link is in the registration tab).
